Chicago chef Stephanie Izard (Girl & the Goat, Little Goat Diner, Duck Duck Goat, Cabra) recently launched a new endeavor: Girl & the Goat-ceries, a meal kit service with local pick ups and national delivery.
But C-U isn’t local to Chicago, you’re saying. Correct! But this Saturday, May 30th those Girl & the Goat meal kits will be available for pick up at Prairie Fruits Farm. Each kit will feature PFF’s incredible cheese.
Kits feed two people, are $85, and include:
- Little Bloom on the Prairie cheese plate, Little Goat House Made Cracker, Assorted Pickles, Jam, Spiced Nuts
- Gotham Greens Grilled Salad, Klug Farm Asparagus, Lemon Pistachio Vinaigrette
- Herb Marinated Grilled Shrimp
- Pork Sausage Satay, Tzatziki, Pickled Peppers, Pita
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
There is an additional dessert add on ($16):
Little Goat Blueberry Pie Kit
6″ Pie ready to assemble and bake. Includes pie crust, 6″ disposable pie tin, blueberries, lime pie sugar and crumble topping with Sour Cream Whip
All of this sounds amazingly delicious. You’ll need to reserve your meal kit; there are plenty of slots available between 3:15 and 6 p.m. Reserve your kit(s) here.
