The New American Welcome Center and Maize are partnering again for El Grito De Independencia on September 15th from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are free this year, which is pretty cool. You still need to grab one online for entrance to the event. The ticket will get you into the area where the entertainment will be happening, including live music, folkorico dancers, and arts and crafts vendors. You can purchase food from the Maize Food Truck and libations from the beer and drinks cart. There will also be paletas from El Oasis. For $80 you can get upgrade to a VIP ticket. Last year that included a buffet, drink tickets, and entrance to the after party.
At 10 p.m., there will be a traditional El Grito.
