Harvest Market has some good apple cider doughnuts

While social and cultural summer may be over after Labor Day, it’s technically still summer for another few days and I am avoiding all fall things (don’t get me started on pumpkin spice). That is I was avoiding all fall things until I bought a six-pack of Harvest Market’s apple cider doughnuts. I know how much C-U loves doughnuts and figured I should break my personal code to do the hard research for you.

Look at the perfect texture!

They’re really quite good. They actually taste like apple cider and they are perfectly fried to get that crunchy exterior necessary for a good cake doughnut. The outside is encrusted with cinnamon and sugar, but overall the doughnut is not too sweet. These doughnuts are also perfect for dunking in milk or coffee, or — if you’re a real perv — apple cider.

Six doughnuts will cost you $5.99. (And yes, there are only five in the photos because I ate one.)
