Ebertfest is happening September 8-11 at the Virginia Theatre, after a long COVID hiatus. Today, organizers announced five of the films that will be shown, along with a few special guests:
- French Exit with director Azazel Jacobs
- The White Tiger with director Ramin Bahrani
- Something About Mary with director Bobby Farrelly
- Summer of Soul featuring a live performance by Chicago Soul Spectacular
- The 39 Steps
Festival goers must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours in order to attend, and masks will be required to enter.
Passes are on sale now, and there may be individual tickets sold after September 1st, depending on availibility. You can find more details here.
