It’s about to get bitter cold here in Central Illinois. The Cunningham Township Supervisor’s office shared a helpful post about warming centers in Champaign-Urbana, and what they are able to offer.

This is also a good time to donate winter gear. Cunningham Township collects items throughout the winter, and they can be dropped off at these locations:

  • Cunningham Township Office – 205 W Green St in Urbana
If you arrive after our business hours, donations can be placed in the black donation bin by the front door of the office. Our coats go fast so if you see a lot, they will be gone soon!
  • Channing Murray Foundation – 1209 W Oregon, Urbana
  • H2O Salon – 109 N Broadway, Urbana
  • Farren’s Pub & Eatery – 117 N Walnut, Champaign

Jubilee Cafe at Community United Church of Christ also accepts things like coats, hats, and gloves.
