Hey artists, don’t miss these spring submission deadlines

In case you missed the recent email reminder from 40 North Executive Director Kelly White, there are some important arts submission deadlines coming up and you artists out there won’t want to miss them. 

The following information comes directly from 40 North: 

The Great ARTdoors – We are back for round 2. The 10 selected artists will receive a $1,000 stipend and the artwork will be featured in 1 of 10 designated locations. Deadline for proposals is midnight on Sunday, March 14th. 

MTD ART – Four selected artists will be featured on the interior overhead panels of every MTD bus for a period of approximately 3 months. Submission deadline is midnight on April 18th.

Call for Art: Pandemics as a Portal to Change—Krannert Art Museum, the Museum of the Grand Prairie, The Urbana Free Library, Urbana Arts and Culture Program, the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Illinois, and Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center invite artists to submit artwork that reimagines the world as we know it and visualizes the other worlds we know are possible, in an exhibit entitled: Pandemics as a Portal to Change. Submission deadline is April 19th.

BONEYARD ARTS FESTIVAL Planning Survey—The 2021 Boneyard Arts Festival is tentatively planned for June 17-20th. In order to plan the festival as safely and successfully as possible, we need your critical input! 

Women’s Work–The Indianapolis Art Center announced a Call for Entry to Women’s Work. Women’s Work is a juried exhibition centered on gender and feminist politics. Submission is open to all women and non-binary artists over the age of 18 residing in the United States. Entry deadline is May 12th.
