Humanities Research Institute is inviting three people whose organizations are working to respond to community needs, especially those related to health care, addiction, and incarceration. A panel discussion on October 5th, at 7:30 p.m., will bring together Teddie Hill from Champaign County Christian Health Center, Mel Grantham from WIN Recovery, and Janice Walker from First Followers to discuss “their organizations, the challenges they face, and how they’re working to positively impact community health and individual well-being.”

The event is part of HRI’s Community Speaker Series, and will take place at Levis Faculty Center room 108. It’s free and open to all.
