CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with Gameday Spirit Fan Store, will host the annual Fighting Illini Merchandise Sale on Sat., April 24, in the Great East Hall of Memorial Stadium. Shoppers will be able to purchase used University of Illinois team-issued gear in addition to new officially licensed Fighting Illini clothing and souvenirs at discount prices. There is no admission charge.
The sale will run in conjunction with the annual Spring Sports Festival on the UI campus. The sale will run from 9 am until the end of the Orange and Blue Spring Football game, which begins at 1 pm.
Please note that in a change from recent years, the sale will be held on the east side of the stadium. In addition to the sale, all seating for the football game will also be in the east stands of Memorial Stadium.
Fans arriving before Noon, should enter the sale through Gate 17 on the center of the east side of Memorial Stadium. Fans attending the game will have access to the sale through all open gates on the east side.
Admission and parking to the Orange and Blue Spring Football Game is also free.
