Nikki Budzinski will be the next IL-13 representative, defeating Regan Deering and flipping the seat from red to blue. Illinois Democrats redrew the congressional maps, creating a Democratic edge in IL-13, a district had consistently elected Republican representatives, despite a strong Democratic showing in Champaign County.
