Here’s a bit more about Clara de la Fuente:

Clara de la Fuente is a Spanish acrylic and watercolor painter living in Champaign-Urbana for a decade. Her paintings are inspired by colorful nature scenes and sunsets, both local and from the 22 countries she has visited.

Clara’s work has been exhibited every year at the Boneyard Arts Festival since 2019 and the 1868 Collection of Busey Bank since 2020. She has performed several live painting shows and her art is being featured in Smile Politely, the News-Gazette, Daily Illini, Shoutout Atlanta and Activator magazine

Last year, she started selling her art at local art markets like the Mistletoe or Riggs Christmas Market. During this story takeover, she will show us the behind the scenes of preparation for the Christmas markets happening next weekend: the last Mistletoe Market on December 17th and her live painting show at Planted on December 16th.

You can see more of her work on her website, Instagram, and Facebook.
