Here’s some information about College for Kids in case you’re unfamiliar:

College for Kids is the flagship of youth programming for Community Education at Parkland College.
Going back more than forty years, this summer camp tradition provides area youth with learning
opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, or STEAM. Through hands-on activities and dynamic lessons, CFK aims to create life-long learners.

Our Youth Program Manager, Kathy Buyze, works with Parkland instructors, local businesses like
Blueprint Counseling, Champaign County Humane Society, Camp Monarch, BlackRocket, Ctrl-Z and
teachers from schools all over the Champaign-Urbana area to build classes that will fully engage our
students, build their confidence, and give them the space to explore what makes them passionate.
Check out their daily posts on Instagram at @parkland_ce and check out upcoming classes for all ages at parkland.edu/ceRegister.
