Damn, it’s hot out there. This bourbon peach punch slush ($7) from Art Mart was so freaking good — and it can quench the heat and maybe some of that Monday blah. Starting with whiskey on the nose, this frozen beverage has a delicious warm bourbon flavor with a very cold temp. It started sweet and builds to a whiskey crescendo worthy of applause. The slush itself was smooth and not too thick, so it was easy to drink.
Stop by Art Mart and ask the wine department or staff at the cheese counter for yours. There’s also a champagne cocktail slush available as well. Enjoy it indoors in Art Mart’s cafe, or take it home to enjoy.
