The Canopy Club in Urbana, IL, is set to come alive with the sounds of local talent this Sunday, October 15th at Under the Canopy: Battle of the Bands. The venue will be hosting a battle of the bands, featuring a diverse range of artists such as Emily How, Garden Girl, Grey Slush, The Hangovers, Haunted x Humans, Josh Spinner, Manifest West, and Sitrus Sol. Competing for a grand prize of $1,000 cash and an opportunity to headline a show at the renowned Canopy Club, these artists are sure to bring their A-game, promising a night of great original performances.
If you’re planning to be a part of this musical extravaganza, doors swing open at 4 p.m., with the first act taking the stage by 5 p.m. The music won’t stop till 9 p.m., after which the nail-biting process of tallying votes will commence. For just $10 in advance or $12 at the door, attendees aged 14 and up can immerse themselves in the competition and have a say in the outcome. The winner will be chosen based on in-room votes, the insights of a special panel of judges, and online votes.
