Back in August, Maize revealed that they had a food truck in addition to their two locations. That truck has been used in a variety of capacities for catering and pop-ups around C-U, and now news has come that Maize has secured the food truck space previously occupied by Derald’s on campus at U of I.
This would be at 505 S. Mathews Avenue in Urbana, which sits adjacent to the Quad, and although there’s no permanent schedule set at the moment, Maize will be updating their social media channels when they have more information about consistent days/hours they will operate it at that location. For now, be on the look out for the pop-up appearances in that parking spot in the near future — which is especially convenient if you’re on campus often.
