Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington is hosting their annual Spooktacular event this weekend, October 22nd from 5 to 8 p.m. and October 23rd from 12 to 3 p.m. The event is family friendly, though if you want the spookiness level to be a little higher, attend the Saturday evening portion.
You’ll find Halloween decorations, crafts, face painting, and various vendors, as well as hayrack rides for an additional fee, and of course all of the cute animals.
Admission to the Saturday event is $3 for zoo members and $8 for non-members. On Sunday it’s regular zoo admission, which ranges from $4.95-6.95.
