US Ambulances for Ukraine was founded by OSF HealthCare Vice President of Government Relations Chris Manson, as a way to support the country as the war with Russia continues. They’ve delivered 67 vehicles, including ambulances, SUVs, and fire engines, to the country since March 2022.
The next shipment of vehicles will include a wheelchair accessible vehicle donated by MTD. From Manson, “This vehicle will help move wounded soldiers, especially those with significant injuries who are confined to a wheelchair. Its capabilities will also allow it to be used in emergency evacuations when Ukrainians with disabilities need to be relocated.”
