MTD has added a colorful wrap to one of their buses, which they have dubbed the “inclusion bus.” The wrap depicts all types of people and families, and includes phrases like “You can always sit with us” and “Welcome aboard! We saved a seat for you.”
They launched the bus as the new semester began at U of I, and it will be featured in the Pride Parade on September 30th. From Marketing Manager Autumn Soliman: “The hope is that everyone can see themselves in the artwork and know that they are seen, welcome, and important to this community.”
