Do you have 20 minutes to watch a video narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch and complete a short survey? The NCSA Advanced Visualization Lab is doing a research project to examine “public communication of space science.” Your participation will help them make better science documentaries in the future.
After watching a video about Solar Superstorms, narrated by Cumberbatch, you will then fill out a questionnaire to share your thoughts. Participants will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.
What exactly does the Advanced Visualization Lab do? They “create high-resolution data-driven cinematic-quality visualizations for public outreach.” In 2021, we featured the founder and recently retired director Donna Cox. She brought the vision of bridging the gap between science and art to NCSA.
