Nectar drops “Routine” music video, featuring C-U businesses

Indie punk band Nectar have dropped the music video for their latest single “Routine.” The video sees singer Kamila Glowacki playing guitar and singing in various small businesses throughout C-U, skating, and hanging out with the rest of the band.

Glowacki says:

“Routine” is a song about reframing the monotony of day-to-day life through the
perspective of comfort and stability. Over the past few years, I’ve developed newfound gratitude for Champaign and Urbana’s small businesses and the moments of solace they offer in routines such as regular trips to the coffee shop, bakery, or record store. The video highlights sixteen local businesses/locations, purposefully leaving out references to the University of Illinois to signal that there is much more to C-U than just the university. The music video acts as a love letter to the charms of Champaign and Urbana, and a reminder to support the places that bring joy to life’s routines.”

Check out the video below, and keep up with Nectar on Facebook.
