New pubs Hound’s Rest and Hound’s Court take over The Blind Pigs of Downtown Champaign

Both of Downtown Champaign’s The Blind Pig locations have new owners now. This weekend, the dual bars will reopen with fresh paint and a new theme for Boneyard Arts Festival, which starts tomorrow, April 12th.

Out with pigs and in with pups, the Champaign pubs have new names. The location on Walnut Street is now Hound’s Rest, and the Neil Street spot with the beer garden is Hound’s Court.

In the meantime, follow Hound’s Rest Pub on Instagram. Or, be one of the first patrons this weekend as the brand-new bar opens its doors as a venue for the Boneyeard Arts Festival. From April 12th through April 15th, Hound’s Rest and Hound’s Court will host the art of John Lindell.
