One Community Together, hosted by the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music, is a day of musical performances and interactive activities. It’s happening from August 21st from 12 to 6 p.m. at Rose Bowl Tavern, and performances will also be streamed on Facebook live. There will also be in person and online activities for kids.
Live musical acts include the Hot Iron String Band, Vine Street Syncopators, Kavi Naidu Jazz Quartet, and more, and there will be recorded performances from the Marching Illini and area high school marching bands. Find the full schedule here.
