Parkland College Career and Technical Education is inviting area high schoolers to participate in a free workshop, where they can learn to use Autodesk Maya (3D computer animation software) and Unreal Game Engine (a series of 3D computer graphics game engines) to learn how to create “assets for games, film, industrial design, marketing, computer aided drafting, and much more.”

The workshop will be taught by Derek Dallas, faculty chair of Business/Computer Science & Technologies. There are limited spots, so students need to register here to claim their space.

Parkland offers an associate’s degree in Digital Media, if the workshop happens to inspire participants to pursue the field.
