Vintage Villains & Ripper the Clown Present the Pop Goes the Culture Variety Show.
The place: Vintage Villains, 126. N Vermilion, Danville.
The date: Saturday night, June 27, 2015
Doors open at 7:00; show starts at 8:00
Tickets: $6 in advance or $8 at the door
This night of stand-up comedy, music, poetry and singing will feature performances by: Julia Megan Sullivan; Chris Hightower; Brandon Parks; Allen Lewis; Rich Wentz; Sara Ortiz; Pamela Adam; Michael Williamson; Sue Bentley Daugherty; Stephanie Katcher; Cory Rouse; The Villens; Rich Castle; Sweetwillie Johnson; Shawn Hosseini. Hosted by Ripper the Clown & DJembe Jake.
15 performers will receive 6 minutes each to wow the audience; in this totally interactive competition, the audience will determine what entertainers remain on stage with the top four performances receiving prizes from area businesses: Gold Rush Pawnbrokers, Latoz Hardware, Glory Daze Antiques & Uniques, R.P. Lumber, The Danville Farmer’s Market, Gross’ Burgers, Custard Cup, Stage Presents/The Fischer Theatre and Children’s Books by Mary Anne Lipousky-Butikas.
