Something good has come out of these unprecedented and difficult times: The Monday Times, a newspaper published by kids in Urbana.
This newspaper publishes on Mondays, and you’ll find stories in English and en español on topics like the libraries offering curbside pick up, “Las Personas Afuera,” garden news, cookie recipes, and birthday parties in Animal Crossing™.
Edited by Juniper and Dashiell Gaines (with contributions from other neighborhood children), the paper is available online and in print. The Gaines children recently talked to the News-Gazette; read more about their project there.
