Run to Remember, an event hosted by Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend to “honor the memories of those we miss, cherish those within our midst, and work together for a peaceful tomorrow,” is happening September 9th at Crystal Lake Park. There are two race options: A 5-miler for people who are planning to run (or run with just a little walking) for the full race, and a 5K for runners and walkers. If you can’t make it on September 9th, they also have a virtual option that will still allow you to submit your time.

Community Foundation of East Central Illinois, and United Way of Champaign County, will receive a portion of the race fees. When you sign up, you can choose which you’d like to support, or have it split between the two. Both organizations do some really good work in the community.

If you register by July 31st, you can get in on the early bird fee of $45 for the 5-mile, and $35 for the 5K.
