Schweighart stood by his comments on Tuesday as community members said the remarks are divisive.
“Somehow it’s got turned around to be a racial thing,” Schweighart said.
He made clear that his concern did not lie with the color of the president’s skin, but rather with what he saw as a constitutional question surrounding Obama’s presidency.
But the real fun comes in the next paragraph:
Hawaiian officials have said state records exist to confirm that Obama was born there, but some conservatives still question their existence.
Well done, Mr. Wade. Way to put any reasonable concerns to rest by painting it as a he-said/she-said thing. A bright future at Fox News awaits you.
