Whether it’s visual or performance art, literature or film, Champaign-Urbana has always nurtured a vibrant arts community. We are looking for new contributors for our Arts section: You can see shows before they debut, talk to local artists and learn about their work, dive into literature and poetry, and check out festivals like Boneyard, Ebertfest, and PYGMALION.

It’s helpful to have at least a mild grasp about what’s happening locally, and preferably a grasp on the arts, as well as the ability to express your thoughts in writing. More than anything, we’re looking for people who are enthusiastic about the arts in our community. Whether your interest lies with visual arts, live performance, or literature, we’d love to add your voice to the mix.

You can contribute as much as your schedule allows.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, or if you have questions, send us an email at [email protected].
