Soon you can sign up for a permanent vote by mail list

Earlier this year, the Illinois General Assembly passed an elections bill — then signed into law by Governor Pritzker — that establishes a permanant vote by mail list. Currently, voters request mail-in ballots for every election. This would give the option to request just one time, then automatically receive a mail-in ballot for every election unless you move, pass away, or request to be removed from the list.

While the sign up is not open yet, you can receive updates from the Champaign County Clerk by filling out this form

Drop boxes will once again be used for 2022 elections, and there will be boxes in Mahomet, Rantoul, Savoy, St. Joe, and Tolono as well.
