The annual DJ festival Spindependence, curated by DJs Kosmo, Delayney, and Ingram, has announced their expansion to three nights in 2019. It’ll take place July 3-5 in Downtown Urbana at Blackbird — a move that took place last year that we thought was an excellent adjustment.
It’ll take place from 5 p.m.-2 a.m. each night, and utilize the indoor and outdoor areas of the bar, and feature food by Manolo’s Pizza & Empanadas. Though the lineup hasn’t been announced, surely that’s coming down the pike, and we’ll keep you posted once we know more.
