Submit your artwork for Busey’s 1868 The Exhibition

Busey from their 1868 Virtual Gallery

Busey has opened up their call for artists for the 1868 Exhibition, which features artwork from local artists. The event is organized in partnership with 40 North | 88 West.

Artwork must be submitted by Monday, August 21 at 11:59 p.m., and selected artists will be notified by September 1st. Artists will be chosen through a jury selection process.

 To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, a reception will be held in September, and the artwork will be on display through July 2024 at Busey Wealth Management headquarters in Urbana. All of the art will be available for sale to directly benefit the artist.

Applicants must be residents of Champaign County, McLean County, Macon County or Peoria/Tazewell County. 

If you haven’t already checked it out, the 1868 Kids Collection is currently on display, which features art from kids at Cunningham Children’s Home and Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club.
