When you get the chance to help out a local community radio station AND support Crisis Nursery, isn’t that considered killing two birds with one stone? Even though we’re nearing September, WEFT is doing their Summer Radio Campaign and when you donate $10 to WEFT, $1 of that goes to the Crisis Nursery of Champaign. There are more details over at the link as to what levels of donation they suggest, but all donations are welcome.
I just stumbled on this today, but even if this has been going on for a while, it seems like a worthy cause. We have this program on WEFT every Friday, so there’s our shameless plug to go along with it.
