A track by Tara Terra was featured as the music for a choreographed video filmed in Allerton Park. St. Louis choreographer and dance film artist Andrea Muhlbauer chose the vibrant splendor of an autumnal Allerton as the setting for her latest piece, entitled “STEPS.” It showcases dance students from U of I with the song “The Way Back” as their accompaniment, off of Tara Terra’s 2014 album Daughter.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (October 28, 2016)– Breakout St. Louis choreographer and dance film artist Andrea Muhlbauer filmed her latest major dance piece at Allerton Park & Retreat Center in Monticello this month. Released online this week, the dance film features three talented dance students from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with music from Champaign band Tara Terra.
The dance film, titled ‘STEPS’ tells the story of “Four young people who dare to take on an unknown or intimidating journey, four people who learn from supporting each other what it means to stand alone,” says Andrea Muhlbauer.
