Fiala Brothers Brewery & Beer Hall in Uptown Normal is hosting a chili cookoff on January 7th. The event will raise money for WishBone Canine Rescue, which is very important to me because that is where our family adopted this cute boy.
The event is free to attend, but you’ll want to bring cash to vote for your favorite chili: One dollar per vote. You are also encouraged to bring additional donations for the shelter — cash, dog treats, canned or bagged dog food. You can enjoy beer and drink specials alongside your chili. They are still accepting entrants, if you want to put your chili to the test.
