The Beckman Open House is happening April 5th and 6th

There are four different colored vials sitting on a table with a light behind them. A small child's hands are resting on the table. Behind the vials are two bowls filled with candy.

It’s difficult to comprehend the breadth and depth of research and collaboration happening at that huge building on the north end of the University of Illinois campus. The Beckman Open House is a way to glimpse a small piece of it, in a fun and engaging sort of way.

This year’s event is happening April 5th and 6th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s open to all ages, and will be filled with hands-on and interactive experiences, interesting demos, and opportunities to chat with the people that are doing the research and making discoveries.

This is one of those events that’s a reminder of how cool it really is to live in this community.
