In anticipation of their upcoming Grateful Gathering next month, the Interfaith Alliance of Champaign County is inviting middle and high school students in the area to share how their faith or spiritual traditions inspires them to practice gratitude. Participants can submit an essay, poetry, a music or dance piece, or visual art. The entries will be evaluated by a team of judges, and there will be a $300 cash award for each category. You can find all of the rules and guidelines here. Note: the submission deadline has been extended to October 31st.

Winners will be asked to present their work at the Grateful Gathering at Spurlock Museum on November 19th at 3 p.m.
