The City of Urbana has opened up applications for four “Curbanas” to be utilized by downtown businesses. Last summer, the city rolled out two of these cute outdoor public seating areas: in front of Nola’s and in front of Café & Co. From the press release:
Downtown businesses may apply for a Curbana to be installed temporarily outside of
their business from June to October of 2022. There are two sizes of Curbanas: 10’x20′ that requires one metered parking spot and 10×40′ that require two metered parking spots.
Applications are available on the City of Urbana website.
