At Smile Politely, we love Jon Hansen. He was part of what made WPGU such a great station, and his leadership there still carries over to the day, despite his being gone for a few months now.
After moving to D.C. for a small moment to help run campaigns during last year’s political season disaster, he’s back in Chicago now, doing more radio jobs and as it happens, gearing up for another years cheering along the Cubbies.
Seems like Wrigley needs a new PA announcer, and have put out an APB to Cubs Nation for their next great voice. My vote is for Jon, of course, but for good reason. See it here:
