The Odyssey Project is hosting a free summer writing workshop

The Odyssey Project, which offers adults the opportunity to take free University of Illinois humanities courses for college credit, will have a free non-credit summer writing workshop for adult learners.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, income-eligible, and may not already have a Bachelor’s degree. A high school diploma or GED is not required. Previous Odyssey students are exempt from the eligibility requirements.

The creative writing workshop will meet on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. from June 15th to July 6th, and will run for two hours. All classes will take place at the Douglass Branch Library meeting room. It will be led by Dr. Angel Garcia, assistant professor in the U of I English department.

The application form is due by June 13th.
