After being closed to the public since the beginning of the pandemic, the U of I Ice Arena is going to be back in action on August 23rd. Here are the public skate times:
Mondays 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Wednesdays and Fridays* 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays** 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
*Friday evening public skates will begin September 24th. There will be no public skates on Illini Hockey game nights.
**Saturday public skates will begin October 23rd.
Speaking of hockey, the Illini Hockey schedule has been released. The Orange and Blue scrimmage is on September 12th, and tickets will go on sale next week. You can find the full schedule here.
