Once a month, the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum offers Night at the Museum. For $25 ($20 for members) you can drop your kid off for three hours of fun activities with museum staff and they will be fed pizza. It’s happening this Friday, February 9th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Then you are free to cut loose for a bit — I mean not too loose — you do have to pick them back up again. Since the Orpheum is nestled right there in downtown Champaign, you don’t have to use those precious hours driving all over. There are plenty of lovely establishments within walking distance.
You must preregister here, and there is only space for 25 kids…we don’t want it to be chaos, right?
