Well, the Fighting Illini football team has pretty much done the unthinkable and became bowl eligable on Saturday afternoon, defeating Northwestern 47-25 in Evanston.
That means that Tim Beckman will survive the season, and he’ll be on the sideline for Illinois in 2015, per an announcement by AD Mike Thomas yesterday. Check it out below.
