It’s apparently winter now, so why not start making wintery type plans?
Allerton Park and Retreat Center is hosting their popular annual Holiday Showcase the weekend of December 13-15. Here are the details:
Friday, December 13th, 5 to 9 p.m.
Be one of the first of the year to experience the Kirby Wellness Walk, then hit the cash bar in the Mansion while you shop. There will also be ornament making and carriage rides around the park. Purchase $10 (12 and under free) opening night tickets here.
Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th, 10 to 4 p.m.
Reserve a spot for the lunch buffet (only the 3 p.m. seating is still available), enjoy a carriage ride around the park (bring cash for that), and shop the showcase while you hear from live performers.
Tickets for just the showcase are $10 per person, 12 and under are free. If you plan on lunch as well, it will be $28 and 5 and under are free. You can purchase your advanced tickets here.
