Today is the last Champaign Farmers Market of the season

If you haven’t glanced at the weather forecast for this week, everything is about to be complete trash (snow and 20-30 mph winds on Halloween? COME ON). Get those costumes on the kids now and head out to the Monster Market, which happens to be the last Champaign Farmers Market of the season.

The vendors will have some treats for trick-or-treating on hand, but there will be lots more Halloween fun:

  • Frankenstein photo ops with Orpheum Children’s Science Museum
  • Creepy Carrots book giveaways from Champaign Public Library
  • Balloon animals
  • Mask making and tangerine decorating
  • Costume contest
  • Jack-o-Lantern and “Squirrel-eaten” Jack-o-Lantern contests (bring your pumpkins to the market for judging)

You can get all of the details at the Facebook event
