Tractor Kings announce Code, first new album since 2008

Longtime local staple Tractor Kings have announced their new record, Code, which will be out in “early 2016” per their Bandcamp page. It’s the band’s first record since 2008’s HomesickHere’s the album art, track listing, and stream a new track “Ocean Goes Deep” below. h/t to Ghost Track, which is where I saw the announcement initially.

Tracks 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 were recorded at Pogo Studio with Mark Rubel. Tracks 4, 6, 9 and 10 were tracked at Earth Analog with Aaron McCallister. Additional tracking on all songs at Earth Analog and Populist Recording. Mixed by James Scott at Populist Recording.  Mastered by Dan Dietrich at Wall to Wall Recording.

The band’s last album, Homesick, was released on Parasol’s Spur imprint in 2008.
No shows set at the moment, but band is looking at record release shows in February.

“Ocean Goes Deep” is the first single from Tractor Kings’ upcoming Spur Records full-length, Code, which will be released in early 2016.
