For those in Champaign with incoming kindergarteners, registration is now open and running through the end of March. Here are some important related dates to put on your calendar:
January 23rd- Schools of Choice Information Night, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Garden Hills Academy
The Schools of Choice process can be a little bit daunting and confusing, so this is your opportunity to get all of that important info and ask questions
February 6th- Evening open houses, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Check out Kenwood, Carrie Busey, South Side, Robeson, Booker. T. Washington and Stratton. Shuttles will be available for those who want to tour multiple schools and need transportation.
February 11th- Evening open house, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Check out Barkstall, Garden Hills, Bottenfield, Westview, Dr. Howard, and IPA. Shuttles also available.
In addition, there will be tours in every building on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. for the entire month of February. If you can swing it, these really help you see the school day in progress and get a feel for the vibe of the school. You can find all sorts of information about registration here.
