Rainbow Garden in Urbana is closing next month on November 22nd after being open for more than a decade. On Facebook, Rainbow Garden posted that the restaurant was “fine and rolling all the way through COVID, but just couldn’t get over the hill with all the inflations.”
The restaurant will continue to serve their menu of Chinese cuisine six days a week in the same Urbana plaza as Po’ Boys restaurant. Dine in while you still can, or order takeout.
On the heels of the closing of The Poke Shack’s Urbana location, writing about another restaurant closing sucks. I hate when restaurants go out of business. This is a reminder, dear hungry readers of Champaign-Urbana, to support our favorite local restaurants, so they can keep making the food we love to eat.
