At tonight’s Toast to Tourism event, Visit Champaign County unveiled that a new mural is going to be commissioned and installed on the wall outside of their building in Downtown Champaign. The mural, which you can see above, will exist on the wall which sits directly next to the Blind Pig beer garden. Visit Champaign County’s office is at 16 E. Taylor — a building which they moved to last year.
The mural will be made by local artist David Michael Moore. Read up on our Editorial Board piece about public art in Champaign-Urbana while you’re at it.
