If you’re unfamiliar with this show I’m talking about, Naked and Afraid is something else. The concept of the show is this: two constestants, typically a man and a woman, are taken to various remote places, stripped down (voluntarily of course), and have to survive for 21 days in the elements.
C-U’s Alex Manard is one of the contestants on this weekend’s season premiere, which debuts Sunday, March 1st at 7 p.m. The episode is called “Little Person, Big Challenge”, as Manard has a form of dwarfism called Pseudoachondroplasia. He is no stranger to reality TV, he and his cousin appeared on The Amazing Race in Season 27 of that show.
The City Center is hosting a watch party for the episode, where Manard will be in attendance, so if you are interested in watching it with a group of people, there’s an option locally that’s outside of your own living room. Tune in on Sunday to see how he does.
