When spicy food is really good and spicy, you’ll get a high from the endorphins your brain releases. It’s pretty great. Good spicy is more than just a burning sensation in your mouth; there are complexities and flavors, too.
There are plenty of spicy things to eat in C-U. Some of my favorites include the jerk sauce at Caribbean Grill, the crispy basil chicken at Golden Harbor, and the salsa verde at La Mixteca. I’m also a sucker for Maize’s tomatillo salsa, and Watson’s Nashville hot.
