NEW FARM-TO-TABLE EVENT SPACE OPENING IN CENTRAL
ILLINOIS
Champaign, IL – New full service farm-to-table event space is scheduled to open in early May.
Located just 7.5 miles from downtown Champaign in North East Urbana, Willow Creek Farm is now booking events including weddings, corporate retreats, private dinners and more.
The heated and air conditioned barn will be able to seat up to 150 guests with ample outdoor space for larger entertaining. Willow Creek Farm personalizes each experience based on the type of event, party size and seasonality with menus created by V. Picasso Chef Adam Shallenberger.
Willow Creek Farm is no stranger to the event and catering business having been a partner with local restaurant V.Picasso for the past year. “The Farm has been such an important part of the restaurant, we wanted to extend the experience of sourcing food locally to the farm itself,” says Victor Fuentes, V. Picasso owner and partner with farm owner Traci Lipps. The two have been hosting “Dinner On the Farm” meals together for the past six months as they began the build out on the barn event space.
“I’m excited to share the beauty of my family farm with Central Illinois. We’ve worked hard to maintain a sustainable, organic farm for several years and feel like the unique nature of a farm-to-table event space will be a treat for all visitors,” says Traci Lipps, farm owner.
